Gethers, the South Carolina HS football player of the year went to Penn State University and star at LB University before being drafted by the Houston Oilers. After stints in the Canadian Football League Gethers went on to corporate America. He currently runs SAMS a program geared to motivate and encourage young student athletes on success and life. Gethers coaches in the Summer at Penn State University football camps and in camps in South Carolina. Gethers is currently the President of the Penn State football lettermans club.
